Optically clear molding compound contains no aromatic compounds. It remains clear even when exposed to ultraviolet (UV) light and heat. It is hard, tough and scratch-resistant. Our clear epoxy molding compound is moisture resistant and since it is molded to the LED die, it forms a permanent bond.

Multi-colored outdoor LED lighting is made possible by the addition of UV-stable dyes that preserve luminous efficiency. Look for LEDs in more outdoor applications such as electronic signs and LED traffic signals that require high light output and extraordinary durability and long-life.
